IMMA wants you to join them for fun, food and music with two exhibitions free to view throughout the evening – Post-War American Art with works by Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Marcel Duchamp and Robert Rauschenberg & Graphic Studio: 50 Years in Dublin featuring prints ranging from today’s most up and coming Irish artists right back to international artists printmaking since the 1960s. Music will be played by the funk jazz collective, the Jazzberries, while the Míele Kitchen will be creating yummy canapés by their guest chef right in front of you! Oh and don’t forget that Becks Beer will take care of your drink needs with free beer and soft drinks. It’s not over yet! Our amazing artists-in-residence are delighted to open their studios to you for the evening where you can see their work and the space it is created in. Meet them in person – Pascal Bircher (UK), Aoife Collins (Ireland) & Oswaldo Ruiz (Mexico). There’s still more… Jackie Ryan from Graphic Studio Dublin will give a talk on the show at IMMA and Christina Kennedy, curator of Post-War American Art will lead a free exhibition tour in the New Galleries.
