Graphic Studio Dublin: 50 Years in Dublin

Jackie Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of Graphic Studio Dublin (GSD) presents a gallery talk on the exhibition Graphic Studio Dublin: 50 Years in Dublin at IMMA from 8 September 2010 – 30 January 2011. Ryan will discuss how this exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Graphic Studio Dublin as the first fine art print studio in Ireland to establish Irish printmaking internationally while also demonstrating the integration of print into the practices of a newer generation of artists. Featured in this exhibition are prints by artist such as Dorothy Cross, William Crozier, Charles Cullen, Barry Flanagan, Martin Gale, Richard Gorman, Ronnie Hughes, Eithne Jordan, Gwen O’Dowd, Tony O’Malley, Geraldine O’Reilly and Diana Copperwhite among others.
