The Collection of the Irish Museum of Modern Art is shown in the West Wing of the building in a series of themed exhibitions and rotating displays. The Collection is also shown throughout Ireland via the Museum’s National Programme and nationally and internationally through loans from the Collection.

Between Metaphor and Object: Art of the 90s from the IMMA Collection Between Metaphor and Object features a range of works from the IMMA Collection, primarily sculptures and installation works from the 1990s.

What happens next is a secret This is an experimental exhibition which attempts to addresses the question of what happens when artworks become part of a collection and are subsequently shown in many different contexts.
